The fabric is soft and a bit stretchy, so I feel like I can dress my daughter in it with leggings just for a typical day, but it also looks really cute dressed up with tights. Overall, a perfect and versatile wardrobe staple. My daughter was 22 months when I purchased this. She is a bit small for her age, but with the style of this dress and the stretch of the material, I expect her to be able to continue to wear it for several more months.
